When an asset is in downtime, a popup notification will appear, prompting the user to select the cause of downtime and provide a description. This Pop-up window displays all the unresolved downtimes stacked in a single window. Users can either dismiss all of them (if permitted) at once or resolve them individually.

The cause and description provided are recorded and can be viewed in the Event Log or Asset Timeline.

Justification Requests

Users can address missed notifications from the current shift through the Justification Requests modal, ensuring that all downtime events receive the necessary input for accurate analysis.

This can be accessed at the top of the asset dashboard, as shown in the image below:

Adding media files to a Downtime

To add media for downtime events:

  1. On the Cause modal.

  2. Click the

Camera icon to take a picture (mobile only) or upload one (web browser).

  3. Preview and submit the cause.

Splitting the current downtime

It is possible to split the current downtime using the

button at the upper center of the Asset dashboard, below the "ASSET DOWN" label. This button will only be visible during downtimes.

Once pressed, a new window will open, where you can select the start time and a cause for the new downtime; it is also possible to add a cause for the current downtime if it had not been justified already.
