When using the Shutdown button, ioTORQ LEAN stops recording information about the asset. An example use case of this is during an annual maintenance period for the facility, where everything is shut down.
An asset can be shut down by clicking the button located on the Asset Dashboard. Once pressed a modal will pop up requesting an input for the Shutdown cause and a field for a description.
Note: Both of these fields are optional.
You can select a Shutdown cause by pressing the "Causes (optional)" field and all the shutdown causes available for the asset will be displayed; select the correct one and press "CONFIRM".
If there are no causes available for the asset you can learn how to, here: Manage downtime Causes and Categories
The time when the asset is in Shutdown is not recorded in the Losses or Performance reports but can be visualized on Phase Reports and the Asset Timeline.
Remember that you must select a product to run before you can manually restart the asset and continue measuring the asset's performance.
Make sure you have selected a product to run before pressing the "Start" button.
You can use the "Start" button to resume measuring the asset.
