Changes to the Switch button
During a changeover, operators often focus on the changeover rather than recording the "switch" phase in ioTORQ LEAN. This can lead to the system incorrectly marking the line as down during the changeover.
With this update, you can now move the recording of the changeover to the beginning of the current downtime phase instead of when the input was made.
For example, after a downtime started, the operator took 45 minutes before pressing the switch button; the timeline would look like this.
If the operator chooses to include the current downtime as part of the changeover, the timeline will look like this:
Key Benefits
- Improved Accuracy: Ensures the system accurately reflects the line status during changeovers.
- Reduced Manual Entry: Operators can focus on the changeover process without worrying about immediate data entry.
How to use it
To use this new feature, press the switch button. You will then have the option to adjust the timeline and include the current downtime in the changeover.
Select between:
Yes: Include the current downtime in the changeover.
No: Do not include the current downtime in the changeover.
No: Do not include the current downtime in the changeover.
Once you have selected the option you prefer, press the submit button.
Note: It is also possible to keep the current product during changeovers by selecting the "Keep running the current product" option.
