This report provides a comprehensive overview of the equipment's operational performance, focusing on uptime and the efficiency of the repair processes. It aims to offer valuable insights into the reliability of our machinery and the effectiveness of maintenance strategies, ensuring optimal productivity and minimal downtime in our operations.
To begin receiving insights into Maintenance, make sure you have set up Equipment failure-related causes by going into Facility> Settings> Causes and selecting the "Equipment failure" option, as shown in the image below. These causes will be used to track which downtimes are related to maintenance and measure the response time to each incident.
The Maintenance report can be customized; use all the available fields to find the most suitable report. Then select "Generate".
Once the report is generated, a table will be displayed showing information on the selected Assets:
The Maintenance will display the following fields:
-
Running: The accumulated running time during the selected date range.
-
Total Downtime: The accumulated downtime during the selected date range.
-
Equipment Failure downtime: The accumulated duration of downtime related to equipment failure during the selected date range.
-
Number of downtimes: The total number of downtimes during the selected date range.
-
Number of equipment failures: The total number of Equipment failure-related downtimes during the selected date range.
-
MTTR: (Mean Time To Repair) is the average time it takes to have an asset running after an Equipment failure-related downtime has occurred for the selected date range.
-
MTBF: (Mean Time Between Repairs) is the average time between Equipment failure-related downtimes for the selected date range.
MTBF: Mean Time between failures
From the end of the last failure to the beginning of the next failure: This approach calculates the time between the failures, from when the last failure was resolved until the next failure begins. It provides a measure of the average time interval between failures, which can be useful for understanding the overall reliability of a system or identifying recurring issues.
MTTR: Mean time to repair
From the start of a failure to the end of that same failure, this measurement calculates the amount of time that it takes to repair each failure. It will provide a measure of the time it takes to repair. This is a good metric for understanding the response time to equipment failures.
